We strive to provide you with high-quality, handcrafted soaps that are gentle on your skin.

Quality Guarantee

We stand behind the quality of our products. If you are not satisfied with your purchase due to a manufacturing defect (e.g., cracks, discoloration beyond natural variations, significant scent issues), please contact us within 14 days of receiving your order. We will gladly offer a replacement or a full refund for the defective item(s).

We have a 14-day replacement policy, which means you have 14 days after receiving your item to request a replacement,  or refund. 

To start the process, please contact us at Info@EastDarringtonTrade.com.  Items sent back to us without contact will not be accepted.  You can always contact us for any questions.

 

Return Policy

Used Soap:

Due to hygiene and safety concerns, used soap cannot be returned or refunded.

The soap must be in its original, unaltered paper wrapping.

Unused Soap:

Returns of unused soap are accepted within 14 days of the original purchase date.

The soap must be in its original, unopened packaging.

Return Shipping Costs:

For returns due to manufacturing defects, we will cover the return shipping costs.

For returns due to customer dissatisfaction (e.g., scent preference, skin sensitivity), the customer is responsible for the return shipping costs.

Refunds:

Refunds will be issued to the original form of payment within 5 business days of receiving the returned item(s).

Damages and Issues:

Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

If your order arrives damaged, please take a photo of the packaging and the product and contact us immediately so we can file a claim with the carrier and get a replacement to you.

Exceptions / Non-Returnable Items:

Certain types of items cannot be returned, like used soaps, custom products, such as special orders or personalized items, and personal care goods. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item. 

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.

Exchanges

The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

European Union 14 day cooling off period:

Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification. As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

Refunds:

 We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 5 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.  If more than 15 business days have passed since we’ve approved your return, please contact us at Info@EastDarringtonTrade.com.

Shipping:

We offer Free Shipping on orders over $50.00 USD. A flat-rate shipping fee of $8.00 USD will be charged for orders under $50.00 USD.

Shipping Note: We use USPS Priority (1-3 days) Flat Rate Padded Envelopes. We can fit multiple bars of soap in one envelope for the same $8.00 flat rate. Stock up for your household or for gifts and save on shipping!

Items usually ship within 5 business days. 

We are not responsible for any shipping delays or damages caused by the shipping carrier.

While we take great care in creating our soaps, individual skin reactions can vary. Please discontinue use if any irritation occurs.
